The Team can provide advice and support for costing grant applications in accordance with the AcoRD Guidelines, so that the different activities and costs associated with clinical research are attributed correctly.
Researchers applying for most NIHR and to certain other funders for clinical research grants need to complete a Schedule of Events Cost Attribution Template (SoECAT). This is to capture and calculate the NHS activities in a standardised manner. The Research Development Team will complete the SoECAT on behalf of researchers and ensure that this is signed off by an AcoRD specialist, prior to submission of the grant application.
If you are interested in discussing your research idea, identifying suitable funders, or need support with grant applications, please contact us as early as possible by sending an email to ResearchGrants@uhcw.nhs.uk or complete this notification of intent form.
