The Coventry and Warwickshire Clinical Research Facility (CRF) provides the dedicated facilities, support and expertise required to conduct high quality clinical research, including early phase research studies.

Located in University Hospital Coventry, on the 3rd floor of the West Wing (opposite wards 34 and 35), the CRF comprises the Research Treatment Centre and Inpatient Research Unit.

Our dedicated CRF staff are experienced in delivering experimental treatments for research participants and hold appropriate life support qualifications.

The CRF has a welcoming participant reception and waiting area, a drug storage and preparation area and a centrifuge room, all with continuous temperature monitoring.

The Research Treatment Centre includes a treatment area for outpatients or day patients comprising six treatment chairs, a participant toilet and nurse station.

The Inpatient Research Unit includes two inpatient beds, en-suite bathroom facilities and a nurse station and is designed to accommodate early phase interventional studies and high-intensity or high-complexity elements of later phase studies.
